Many of my readers have asked me how I always get that perfect wing on my eye liner. The answer to this question will be given today. I have brought to you guys 5 easy steps to wing your eye liner. This tutorial is mainly for beginners who have always wanted to learn the trick to a perfect wing. Just as you all, even I didn’t know how to draw a single line on my eye lid. But with practice and these steps I am sure that even you guys can wing your eyeliner like a pro. So let’s just get into it.
The first thing that you guys need to do is to wash your face and moisturize with a cream that suits your skin type. This will help the eyeliner to stay for a longer period of time. I usually wash my face Himalaya face wash. After wiping my face I apply Lakme CC Cream in bronze shade. This cream is great for full coverage. Then I apply Lakme Compact Powder .This is my daily make up routine. (Disclaimer: Do check the ingredients and the skin type of the make up before buying it if your skin is sensitive)
I use Lakme Eye Liner and Maybelline Colossal Kajal for all my eye make up purposes. The eye liner has a matte black finish to it after it dries. Now, we will apply an even line of eye liner across our upper eyelid. Make sure to draw the line as thin as possible and as close to the lash line.
Here comes the most tricky part. After drawing the line, we would like make a diagonal across the outer lash line. This line will be your wing. You can make it as long or as short you would like. Make sure that the diagonal is not too far or too close to the eyelid. See the picture below for better understanding.
Now we have to draw a line from the top of our diagonal to the base of our lash line. The line we are making should be a slant line. You will now end up with a triangular shape. The next thing to be done, is to fill in the triangle with your liner.
You are almost done with your perfect wing. But there is one more thing to be done. And that is giving it a finishing touch. The wing we have is kind of separated out from the lash line. We will now thicken the line we made earlier on the lash line and connect it to the wing. Wait for your liner to dry up.
Your perfect eyeliner is now ready to be flaunted to the world. Of course you may have some set backs doing it the first time. But practice it to perfection and I know that you guys will rock it.
